Vanilla with Vanilla buttercream frosting

i tried my hand with a little decoration this time for an 11 year old birthday. It's Vanilla cupcakes with Vanilla Butercream with butterflies made out of chocolate and some twizzlers in the others. Here are the Pics.

I am soooo excited! I have to attend this event. I'm trying to work it out because I just found out about it today. The date is July 23, 2011. This will be a great opportunity. I hope we will be able to attend :), I know we will have fun.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Holiday weekend! I had my two godsons over for the weekend and they were lots of fun. We went to the pool and the playground for hours. I was so tired. I promised them that I would make them some cupcakes so I decided to make lemon cupcakes with sweet tarts on the top. They loved them... Here are pics

Our First Order!!! Excited

Last week we had our first order. Thanks to Ms. Aleisha Lucy. She ordered Chocolate chip cupcakes w. Vanilla buttercream and chocolate chips mixed in. Ms. Aleisha said that they were delicious and that her twin girls tore them up. We are glad that our first customer enjoyed them. Here are pics of the the chocolate chip cupcakes.

This is the Red Velvet, it got a little messed up in the box..

Last week we took a little field trip to Fancy Cakes in Bethesda. I wanted to visit the competition and get a feel of a bakery. We decided to try three of their cupcakes, I had their gourmet lemon w/ lemon buttercream, and Timi got the vanilla bailey's irish cream w/ bailey's irish cream frosting and we also got their red velvet cupcake what taste like cream cheese frosting. The best one was the red velvet. here are pics of the cupcakes we had from Fancy Cakes by Leslie.
